Nanga Yetu Community-Based Organization!
We are dedicated to fostering a supportive and sustainable community through various impactful programs. Our initiatives focus on providing comprehensive care and education for orphans and vulnerable children, promoting environmental conservation through tree planting and reforestation, enhancing the value of local farmers' produce, distributing sanitary wear to underprivileged women, and caring for neglected senior citizens. Our Focus Areas
What We Do
Fostering, educating, feeding, vulnerable children in the community
Tree planting and reforestation of indigenous trees within the community
Value addition of farmers' produce: milk, macadamia nuts, avocado, coffee
Feeding and regular check-ups for neglected senior citizens in the community
We help community members achieve financial independence by facilitating income-generating initiatives. From vocational training to creating opportunities in agriculture and small businesses, we provide the tools needed to transform skills into sustainable livelihoods.
This initiative is edicated to eradicating the harmful effects of drug and alcohol abuse within the community. We conduct workshops, awareness campaigns, and counseling sessions to educate individuals on the dangers of substance abuse and support those seeking rehabilitation.
Providing a lifeline for vulnerable individuals through halfway housing and rehabilitation services. We offer a secure and supportive environment, addressing basic needs while equipping beneficiaries with life skills, and psychosocial support to help them transition into stable lives.
We ensure access to basic hygiene essentials by distributing sanitary wear to underprivileged women and girls. This initiative promotes dignity, health, and empowerment, enabling beneficiaries to fully participate in education, work, and other activities without interruption or stigma.
